Class description
Trust impacts all employees in the workplace and building trust is not optional. While research shows that trust plays a significant role in positive team, organizational, and leadership dynamics, many of us are unaware of where trust begins, what comprises trust, and how trust forms in the workplace. In addition, lack of trust in the workplace impacts employee cooperation, relationships, and results in hidden costs which impact performance and bottom line.
What is Trust?
Trust is defined as a willingness to be vulnerable to the actions of another person regardless of our ability to monitor or control the other person. Willingness involves our motivation. Trust is a process and can be learned.
