We know that it takes more than health and safety technical expertise to be successful in driving change in organizations. Building a culture of safety requires leaders to display and convey commitment to health and safety.  Authentic Leadership Development is a series of courses designed to help leaders committed to advancing health and safety learn how to best to navigate today’s evolving health and safety landscape. The series is comprised of several leadership development courses that accelerate professional growth based on extensive body of evidence-based research, which supports the models and methods used. The program was designed in collaboration with the UW Foster School of Business, Center for Leadership and Strategic Thinking Leadership (CLST).

Each course is anchored in the Center for Leadership and Strategic Thinking’s Leadership (CLST) Development Blueprint. This development framework was formed using over 20 years of research on leadership and includes widely used evidence-based assessments for participants in the program to trigger and support their leadership development.
