Instructor Highlight: Saskia van Bergen

We’re thrilled to highlight Saskia van Bergen as our featured instructor for August. We are truly grateful for her commitment and outstanding efforts in advancing the Green Chemistry Certificate. Read more about her journey below!

Inspiration to Teach Green Chemistry and Stewardship

In her words, Saskia is inspired to teach Green Chemistry and Stewardship for the following reason:

”Green chemistry and alternatives assessment enable people to keep the desired properties of chemistry while reducing negative impacts. I think it is important to teach these concepts as they are proactive practices used by organizations but they are sadly still not mainstream."

"I aspire to advance the awareness and practice of green chemistry and safer alternatives and one step to do this is to share these concepts and case studies to a wide range of audiences."
