Class description

The Foundations for Safety Leadership (FSL) course introduces construction workers with supervisory responsibilities to critical safety leadership skills and provides specific actions they can take to be an effective safety leader. The FSL course was developed collaboratively by construction industry experts, including experienced OSHA 10- and 30-hour outreach trainers, construction workers, safety and health professionals, as well as leadership, safety climate, and instructional design specialists.
During the course, foremen and lead workers get the opportunity to apply the safety leadership skills they learn to real-world construction-based scenarios.

This train-the-trainer course will prepare instructors to teach the FSL course to others.
