Class description
Safety performance depends on more than rules and procedures—it depends on whether people are motivated and prepared to use them. From Compliance to Commitment helps health and safety professionals strengthen their ability to influence safer behavior, lead through change, and build commitment to evolving workplace requirements.
Whether participants are new to leadership, developing their skills, or leading organizational change, the course provides practical insight into how motivation, trust, and positive influence can strengthen safety performance.
Participants will explore leadership theories, motivation, and practical capabilities that support effective leader and follower development at every level of experience. Through an online self-assessment, participants will examine their own leader developmental readiness—their motivation and ability to develop and apply positive leadership behaviors. The course provides insight and practical strategies for turning safety expectations into meaningful action, even when requirements, technologies, and workplace conditions are changing quickly.
