Worker Memorial Day 2023

Each year, thousands of workers are killed and millions more injured or diseased because of their jobs. On Worker Memorial Day, we honor those who have died in the previous year from a work-related injury or illness in Alaska.

The video was produced in collaboration between the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services (Injury Surveillance Program Section of Epidemiology), Alaska Governor's Conference, Alaska Safety Advisory Council, Equilux, and Northwest Center for Occupational Safety and Health at the University of Washington.
