Decision-Making, Leadership & Communication for Sustainable Chemistry
Dates: March 9 – April 10, 2026| Credit: 1.6 CEUs | Cost: $910
Participants will practice leadership and engagement strategies to overcome their own business’ sustainability barriers they will also develop an action plan This course equips participants with leadership, communication, and change management strategies to drive sustainability within their organizations. Participants will identify internal barriers, practice stakeholder engagement techniques, and develop a tailored action plan to implement safer chemical initiatives in their workplace.
Dates: March 9 – April 10, 2026 (5 weeks)
• Define business drivers, decision-makers, and leadership skills
• Discuss methods to avoid greenwashing and create organizational approaches that lead to meaningful environmental impact through green chemistry and informed substitution.
• Identify the metrics for sustainability; e.g., how are you going to measure success?
• Identify methods for evaluating trade-offs between green chemistry and other important business metrics.
• Identify impacted parties both within and outside the organization and determine how to manage varying perspectives.
