Instructor Highlight : Richard Gleason
|
Mr. Gleason is Associate Teaching Professor Emeritus in the Department of Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences at the University of Washington. He taught at the University of Washington for 26 years, assisted the University of Washington Pacific Northwest OSHA Training center, and provided services to Region 10 comprising Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska.

"What I like about teaching for UW OSHA is seeing students for the last 30 years who come up at conferences and still remember the class they took and comment on how it helped them in their safety career."

In honor of Rick Gleason's retirement, a DEOHS Rick Gleason Endowed Program Support Fund has been created to provide broad-based support to honor students in the department – a generous gift that recognizes Rick’s lifelong contributions at the University of WA.
