How to Create an IPC Plan

We created step-by-step materials to help you learn about Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) on the farm and complete an IPC plan for your dairy farm.

The guides are available in two formats:

• Self-Guided IPC Manual: This manual walks you through each step of completing an IPC plan in a simple way. It is best for people who are working on their own and who prefer to read the information. The manual is available in English and Spanish.
• IPC PowerPoint: This presentation includes the same information as the Self-Guided IPC Manual. It also includes pictures, more details about each topic, and activities to support learning. It is a good choice for teams learning about IPC together. The PowerPoint is available in English and Spanish. Both versions include slide notes that a trainer can use during the presentation.

Please note: A certified Spanish translator who is familiar with dairy farms and dairy-related terms translated the Spanish slides. A translation tool created the Spanish slide notes, so they may contain grammar errors. The notes are included only to support the person leading the training.
